SKIN PROBLEMS
We don't start with the technology. We start with your skin.
What skin concern are you dealing with? Below are the most common questions we hear from clients. During your consultation, we’ll determine which combination of active ingredients, equipment, and at-home care is best for you.
Sagging
When the skin loses its firmness, you often first notice it around the cheeks, jawline, double chin, and neck. The facial contours become less defined, and the skin can gradually lose its youthful firmness.
A major cause of this is the natural decline in collagen and elastin. That is why, when treating sagging skin, we focus not only on the skin’s surface, but specifically on stimulating the structures that give the skin its firmness.
Depending on the degree of skin sagging and your personal preferences, we can use various skin-tightening techniques. HIFU , for example, is a treatment that uses focused ultrasound energy to stimulate deeper layers of the skin. This activates the skin’s natural collagen production, allowing the skin to gradually become firmer in the months following the treatment.
Other collagen-stimulating treatments may also be part of your personalized treatment plan. The goal always remains the same: a fresher, firmer appearance while preserving your natural facial features.
Wrinkles & Fine Lines
Fine lines and wrinkles are a natural part of the skin’s aging process. As we get older, collagen and elastin production decreases. At the same time, cell renewal slows down, and the skin can become thinner, drier, and less elastic.
At Meschi, we therefore avoid making the skin unnaturally tight. Instead, we focus on skin renewal and collagen stimulation, so that the skin’s quality improves on its own.
Depending on your skin type , we can use treatments such as Dermapen microneedling, medical peels, BioRePeelCl3®, LED light therapy, and OxyGeneo™, among others . Each of these treatments promotes skin renewal in a different way and can be combined as part of a personalized skincare plan.
This can gradually soften fine lines, smooth out the skin’s texture, and make the skin look firmer and fresher. The result shouldn’t look like you’ve had a treatment. The goal is for your skin to look healthy, well-cared-for, and naturally youthful.
Pigmentation & Melasma
Pigment spots can be quite stubborn. Examples include sunspots, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation following acne, or melasma. Often, there isn’t a single cause; instead, pigmentation results from a combination of factors, including UV radiation, hormones, inflammation, and genetic predisposition.
That is why there is no single standard solution for every type of pigment.
At Meschi, we use a phased approach. When the skin is sensitive or irritated, it may first be necessary to soothe the skin and strengthen the skin barrier. We then focus on regulating pigmentation, and targeted treatments can be used to reduce existing discoloration.
Depending on your skin condition, the treatment plan may include Cosmelan®, medical peels, microneedling, and professional at-home skincare products, among other options.
Scars
A scar forms when the skin heals itself after being damaged. With acne, for example, pitted scars, indentations, and an uneven skin texture may remain. Scars or stretch marks may also remain visible after surgery, a wound, or pregnancy.
When treating scars, we gently stimulate the skin to regenerate and produce collagen.
The appropriate technique depends largely on the type of scar, its depth, and the age and condition of the skin. For example, we can use Dermapen microneedling, medical peels, and LED light therapy, or a combination of these.
Scars don't always disappear completely. However, by targeting skin renewal, we can often visibly improve their structure and appearance. Our goal is smoother, more even skin where scars are less noticeable.
Acne & Problem Skin
Acne is more than just the occasional pimple. Blackheads, clogged pores, inflammation, and subcutaneous blemishes can persist for a long time and eventually lead to dark spots or acne scars.
That’s why, at Meschi, we don’t treat acne as a one-time facial. We view it as a personalized skincare journey.
We focus on reducing existing blemishes and inflammation, while also addressing sebum production, keratinization, skin renewal, and the condition of the skin barrier. Our goal is not only to soothe the skin at that moment, but also to help prevent new breakouts.
Depending on your skin type, various professional treatments and active ingredients can be combined. At-home skincare also plays an important role in this. A comprehensive routine with many products isn’t necessarily better. We prefer to create a simple and targeted skincare regimen that complements your skin and professional treatments.
Rosacea & Redness
Redness, visible broken capillaries, and sensitive or reactive skin require a targeted and careful approach. With specialized treatments, we specifically address dilated capillaries and redness, while soothing and skin-strengthening ingredients help restore the skin’s balance.
In doing so, we look beyond what’s visible on the surface. By also focusing on repairing and strengthening the skin barrier, we help the skin become more resilient to external irritants. In this way, we work step by step toward calmer, stronger, and more even-toned skin that’s less prone to reactions.
With carefully selected treatments and soothing, skin-nourishing active ingredients, we help the skin become stronger and more resilient again. Depending on the skin’s condition, treatments such as Cold Plasma and LED light therapy may be included in the treatment plan.
If visible blood vessels are present, we will assess during the consultation which targeted vascular treatment is appropriate. It is important to note that a predisposition to rosacea may remain. Treated blood vessels may diminish, but new ones may become visible in the future due to factors such as UV radiation, heat, cold, or genetic predisposition.
